Through April, Cotswold sales increased 24% to 62 properties sold compared to 50 the year before. Growth was driven by both the $500K-1M segment which grew 64% and the $1M+ segment which grew 57%. The under $500K segment was flat, but this is due to low supply, rather than a lack of demand. Cotswold’s growth rate compares favorably with the overall Charlotte market which grew 4%.
Cotswold Sold Price Per SF grew 12% in the 1st 4 months of 2019 from $229 to $256. Cotswold’s results more than doubled the Charlotte market which grew less than 5% going from $147 Sold Price Per SF in 2018 to only $155 through the 1st 4 months of 2019.
